Another fine example of the “Erotic-Thriller” films that peppered late night the better-made “horror-erotic” flicks featuring lots of satanic imagery and naked Penthouse Magazine maven Julie Strain (who also became a Sidaris film staple during the early 90’s) kicks it out of the ballpark as the fiendishly selfish Wiccan Priestess “Erica” who puts spells on all those she wishes to control, namely her wimpish husband Larry! Cable-TV and video rental stores during the early-to-mid 1990’s, SORCERESS is one of female bods throughout it’s two hours of almost dream-like portrayal.

Now I say a woman like that should have dropped his ass for an Alpha Dog, but this is a fiction flick so I stomached the geek lawyer “Larry” (who got way more female tail than he deserved!) Linda Blair returned to the screen for this film as the wife of a rival lawyer and an even more potent Satanist who could cause all kinds of tragedy once she was pissed off. (Linda is so damn cute when she’s pissed off).

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned…..and so Linda Blair’s character dukes it out magick-wise with the “spirit” of Erica, for the souls and financial success of their husbands. Most women in this country would just divorce their wealthy hubby to get his money, not cast spells of doom on their rivals so their inept hubby could be on top in his profession, but this is a Linda Blair film so all bets are off! SORCERESS has some of the best sex-scenes in all of the “Erotic-Thriller” films between 1990 and 1995; one of them being a threesome between Julie Strain’s character, her husband Larry and their live-in witch Maria on Larry’s Birthday!

Then there is the bedroom scene between Larry and Carol (his ex-girlfriend) which was damn enticing to watch considering how it was done! Sorry sports-fans, but Linda Blair didn’t take her clothes off in this film, but she still looked good in what she wore and her ending was a surprise to say the least. SORCERESS is an entertaining erotic-thriller film mixed with a dash of “horror” that’ll satisfy both genres within you, and for fans of Linda Blair and Julie Strain, it’s a must-see! (DVD version is rare and super-expensive) but you can still buy quality VHS copies on Amazon.com as well as from Ebay® sellers.

SORCERESS is what I call a “Bareboobganza” and I give it two devil-horns up!
