A nail-biting thriller about a runaway train rocketing through Pennsylvania which also happens to be transporting hazardous materials and explosive fuel aboard, Director Tony Scott once again knocks the ball out of the friggin’ park with non-stop action and nerve-racking intensity that will keep you pinned in your seat for the duration, and I was impressed despite the initial plotline being centered on a subject I normally would not be interested in. Actors Chris Pine and Denzel Washington convincingly portrayed a pair of roughneck Train drivers facingv their own mortality in a pending disaster with Rosario Dawson spearheading the emergency-response from the Railroad HQ and playing her character to the hilt….I swear, no actress working today portrays such expressive body-language as Dawson does! A nail-biting action “holy shit” type of movie, UNSTOPPABLE will make you look differently at Trains after you see it and make you respect those who operate them on a daily basis….yeah, millions of tons of steel barreling through America at 50+MPH doesn’t stop on a dime and one mistake makes for one hell of a tragedy! Great acting by Pine and Dawson and Tony Scott gives movie-goers a story they really won’t see elsewhere, so I give it a thumbs-up with a kiss for Miss Dawson
